About Emma Bach

Throughout my undergraduate career and professional experiences, I have gained a deep passion for public health policy. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Elon University with a bachelor\'s in public health and policy studies, I served as a UNC School of Government Fellow. I worked for Lee County, NC as a member of the Community Support Services Department assisting with their strategic planning and expenditure of Opioid Settlement Funds. I am currently a student at UNC Gillings pursing my Masters in Public Health in Health Policy.Outside of my professional experience with substance abuse prevention, I have a passion for advocating for equitable health policy that reflects the unique needs of the community it is intended to serve. I have experience in the public and non-profit sectors as it comes to developing, implementing and advocating for policy.
