ABOUT EMIR NADER
I have worked in international news and investigations for ten years as both a correspondent and documentary film producer/director. I am employed by BBC Eye, the investigative documentaries unit of BBC World Service. I also regularly report for other outlets including Newsnight, Radio 4, World Service radio, and the BBC website. I have covered the Israel-Gaza war since its first days, regularly working from Jerusalem and the region as a correspondent for BBC News and Newsnight.My primary focus is the Middle East and North Africa while I\'ve also reported from sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Latin America, Europe and the UK. Previous work in the humanitarian sector for a leading aid agency. I have an interest in feature films and previously was on the screening committee of Human Rights Watch Film Festival, reviewing candidate films for its international festivals.
