I build products where algorithms meet real-world operations. The gap between what a system assumes and what actually happens on a delivery route, a warehouse floor, or a courier\'s shift is where the real product work lives.At Amazon, I work on delivery promise and fulfillment optimization within SCOT (Supply Chain Optimization Technology), evaluating inventory, carrier capacity, and customer preferences to return the right delivery promise.Before Amazon, I spent over three years building Getir\'s algorithms platform from the ground up: 9 squads, 30+ engineers and analysts, covering routing, ETA, pricing, maps, and demand forecasting across 9 countries and daily orders.Signature work- Redesigned routing architecture, reducing last-mile delivery costs by approximately 30% at scale- Invented a proxy order system to solve the chicken-and-egg problem in delivery ETA, improving on-time deliveries 33pp and NPS by up to 40 points- Built an in-house map service with custom motorcycle routing profiles, beating commercial providers with a budget less than 15% of their API cost- Investigated and exposed systematic data quality issues that were invisible to the algorithm team, leading to the creation of an entirely new organizational function.How I think: optimization is tradeoff management, not finding a correct answer. The biggest gains come from problem structure, not solution sophistication. And no matter how good your algorithm is, if you\'re optimizing on corrupted inputs, you\'re optimizing fantasy.Before Getir, I launched a 200-employee logistics branch at TRIGO for Renault Turkey in three months, growing it to a third of national revenue.Interested in connecting with people building products where algorithms, operations, and growth intersect.
