As Founder and President of Weiswood Strategies, I help colleges, universities, and other nonprofits deepen donor relationships and increase contributions through communications strategies and carefully crafted messaging.Successes include: Producing a full suite of campaign communications for a college that reached its $225M goal more than a year ahead of schedule. Helping a national start-up clarify and formulate mission and vision statements before writing their campaign case for support. Writing a principal gift proposal that yielded $2M to fully endow a STEM program for low-income, underrepresented students. Working with university leaders to transform their endowment reporting.Weiswood is neither a marketing agency nor fundraising counsel. Our work is at the intersection of the two, which is rare in the consulting world. Before becoming communications consultants, my partner and I worked in fundraising and donor relations at leading nonprofits and educational institutions.
