ABOUT EMILY WARE
I\'ve spent just over 20 years in the legal industry, and I still find it one of the most dynamic and demanding sectors to work in. As Senior Director of Legal Solutions at Epiq, I partner with FTSE 250 corporations and the top 100 law firms to design and deliver bespoke eDisclosure, document review, legal operations and technology solutions. My focus is always the same: help clients manage their data strategically, mitigate risk and control spend. My case experience spans a wide range of practice areas including patent disputes, white collar investigations, contract law, shareholder disputes, M&A due diligence, employment, environmental, product liability, complex commercial litigation and government investigations involving the European Commission, FCA, SFO, DOJ, FTC, EU Commission and FCPA. With a background in law and legal recruitment, I bring both legal grounding and commercial pragmatism to every client engagement. A growing part of my work involves advising clients on AI adoption within legal workflows. From document review and eDiscovery to compliance monitoring and legal operations, I help organisations move past the hype and implement workflows with AI tools that deliver real, measurable value. Outside of client work, I am a member of the Women\'s White-Collar Defense Association, the Women @ Competition Group in Europe and the Female Fraud Forum in London. In 2021, I founded Mumhive, a social enterprise dedicated to connecting Black mothers, fostering community, shared values and a sense of belonging. When I\'m not working, you\'ll find me on a yoga mat, in a Pilates class, reading or planning my next trip somewhere new.
