Children’s Alliance is known as an active, vocal, and consistent advocate for racial equity and for underserved children and families across Washington State. The Public Policy Council does not consider lending support to legislation unless it has a racial equity lens written into the bill such that the needs of traditionally underserved communities are actively addressed. As a Board Member, I have the opportunity to contribute my passion, dedication, and experience to equitable pediatric policy through supporting state legislation with genuine potential to optimize pediatric education, development, and biopsychosocial health outcomes. Currently serving on Executive Council as Board Secretary and as Public Policy Council member.
