The Consulate General of France in Atlanta ensures the protection of the French community in the Southeastern U.S. and that of French property and interests vis-à-vis the authorities of their country of residence. My role in the Consulate is very versatile, ranging from executive assistance to consular affairs, planning events and official visits to managing crises, all in a French-speaking environment.• Play a significant role in organizing official visits of high-level French officials that often span multiple days throughout the Consulate\'s jurisdiction (AL, GA, MS, NC, SC, TN). My role includes managing all logistics, proposing meetings and events of interest with local partners, communicating clearly to all parties, drafting multiple information files, etc.• Draft letters, speeches and other correspondence for the Consul General. • Organize multiple lunches, dinners and receptions for the Consul General, notably the annual Bastille Day and France-Atlanta receptions.• During the COVID-19 pandemic, I handled many of the Consulate\'s incoming phone calls to address problems pertaining to French citizens in the U.S. navigating border closures.
