My current position is to focus on STEM educational outreach for grade school students. This includes those that know they want to go into engineering and those who aren\'t sure what they want to do! Burns & McDonnell is heavily focused on the importance of STEM education for our youth, and my job is to establish relationships with those involved in STEM education, Project Lead The Way and other programs, school counselors/teachers, metro area leaders, etc to integrate Burns & McDonnell into these established programs as well as implement new programs in-house and throughout the Kansas City area (and the U.S.) to excite these students about STEM careers.
