About Emily Pacholec

I am a graduate of the University at Buffalo accounting program. After initial exposure to accounting through the Academy of Finance and DECA during high school, I have since known this was the career path for me. My involvement as the Student Assistant to the School of Management Global Programs team during my time at UB has broadened my exposure to cultures and ways of life around the United States and the world. I have always had a passion for traveling and the SOM Global Programs helped me embrace this in a way that not only exposed me to new ideas but also let me help fellow students do the same. In this role I had the opportunity to make our programs more equitable and engaging for students around the university. I have had the chance to grow personally and professionally through this program starting off as a trip participant, transitioning to a volunteer, and then into my student assistantship.I have held various positions on and off campus. Through these, I have been able to work in professional environments with students, faculty members, alumni, and outside organizations. I have always thrived under pressure. I choose to challenge myself on a daily basis and would like to work for a company that pushes me to do the same.
