My name is Emily Nelson and I am a currently starting my last semester at Oklahoma City University receiving a bachelor\'s degree in Nursing December of 2023. Having had a previous degree in Public Health at the University of Arkansas, I have been pushed to work alongside others with similar goals in mind to serve our community with the utmost care and respect. Valuing all who surround me, I have been apart of serving the community of those with disabilities in many ways; from non-profits and campus wide organizations to school clubs and volunteer work, I have had the privilege of experiencing such a great group of individuals. Empathy, adaptability, time management, and effective communication are skills I have grown to develop throughout each experience.
