About Emily Neal
Emily works for Quorum Architects, a woman owned architecture firm in Milwaukee, WI that focuses on Historic Preservation and sustainable building practices. She is responsible for managing the firm\'s local community projects, assisting Project Architects with both Residential and Commercial projects, leads the sustainability efforts for all environmental projects, and trains younger professionals entering the workforce. Emily served as President on the AIA Milwaukee Board in 2025, and is a current member of the AIA Wisconsin COTE Committee and Design Awards. She has also previously served as chair of the United States Green Building Council Market Leadership Advisory Committee (USGBC - MLAB). Emily is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning and the UWM Lubar College of Business. After her involvement with Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity (MHFH) during college, Emily has sat on the MHFH Young Professionals board as the Global Village Chair and Chair as well as sitting on the Global Partnerships Committee. In her work as a young architecture professional, she focuses on sustainable, affordable housing and the Milwaukee Habitat mission shares this thinking. Traveling globally through this partnership and building affordable homes remains an important aspect of her professional life.Emily is a recipient of the Daily Reporter 2021 Rising Young Professionals Award.Emily is a recent recipient of the AIA Wisconsin 2025 Associate Award.
