ABOUT EMILY M.
Hi I\'m Emily! I\'m a program planner/manager based out of Chicago. I help create events to foster community and help people learn more about themselves and further their career. From smaller events on college campuses to global conferences for seasoned professionals, I work to ensure that the events I help create are impactful and memorable. Currently, I work to plan a meeting for 500 members and guests where I work with volunteer leaders to create a program with both member and non-member professional speakers. Prior to my professional career, I received my Master\'s in Asian American Studies in 2021 from UCLA where I found a passion for a learning and hoped to find various ways of continuing my educational journey outside of educational institutions. In April 2023, I received my Certificate in Product Management where I found a love for working cross-functionally with dynamic teams to create products that serve its end users. These skills have helped me in my current role and are skills I continue to grow as I grow in my career. Outside of work, I love exploring the greater Chicagoland area and diving into the rich culture of Chicago\'s different neighborhoods. I am also an avid reader and am always looking for a new book to read!
