About Emily Rich
Emily is a Ph.D. researcher and dedicated occupational therapist, serving adolescents and adults in an outpatient medical setting in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Rich completed her Ph.D. in OT at Texas Woman’s University (TWU). Her research interests center around individuals with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and treatment interventions for rehabilitation. Dr. Rich earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Arizona. In her Master‘s program at TWU, Emily received the 2017 Redbud Award for Outstanding Student Leader at TWU Dallas and was invited to be a member of Pi Theta Epsilon honor society. She was the American Occupational Therapy Association Assembly of Student Delegates representative and Texas Occupational Therapy Association representative for her class at TWU. Emily’s clinical work currently lies in adolescent and adult populations at Tucson Medical Center. She believes that interdisciplinary, patient-partnered care is essential to providing quality care and achieving optimal outcomes. Her passions lie in chronic conditions, research, and healthcare advocacy. Emily enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, Latin dancing, and swimming with her dogs.
