I have worked on several projects under Jim Braatz. I have used my Python programming skills and understanding of warped maser disks to identify the limits of the NRAO program used to fit maser galaxies and produce spectra. I have attended a week-long research trip to Green Bank Observatory, where I operated the 40-ft Telescope and presented my observation results of Hydrogen clouds outside of the Milky Way Galaxy. Currently, I am working to create a control group of non-detection maser galaxies to be observed by Green Bank Telescope in preparation of a winter ALMA observation and search for 183 GHz maser galaxies.

The ALMA Science Center is located at the NRAO headquarters in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Jansky Very Large Array is located in central New Mexico and is composed of 25 radio telescopes. The site sits at a 2124-meter elevation and routinely delivers dramatic science results from the Solar System to the most distant galaxies. The Pete V. Domenici Science Operations Center is located in Socorro, New Mexico. The technology research and development behind the NRAO telescopes is housed at the NRAO Central Development Laboratory in Charlottesville, Virginia, where they embrace a science-driven research and development program that supports the astronomy community’s highest priority science goals.
