About Emily Guinther
I\'m Emily. I\'m a Senior Contracts Specialist for Caliola.I\'m an aviation enthusiast and am working towards getting my Private Pilot\'s License. I love art (particularly painting and music) and my corgi and 3 cats. I\'m training for a triathlon in 2026.At my alma-mater, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, I participated heavily in Greek Life as the Panhellenic Vice President of Programming and worked as an assistant to the librarian in the campus Hunt Library. I was a Marketing Assistant within the Center for Entrepreneurship during my senior year, consulting with students on their seed ideas and running the semesterly Entrepreneurial Venture Competition. I was very active in the Housing and Residence Life department of Embry-Riddle as a resident advisor for 2 years. Prior to graduation, I spent 6 months in Porto Alegre, Brazil, learning in Portuguese and traveling across the incredible country in the midst of its tumultuous 2018 election cycle. After graduation, I was awarded a Sports Pilot Scholarship with the EAA and spent 3 weeks in Oshkosh, WI, learning how to fly in Cessna 162s. I then moved to the Aviation Capital, Wichita, KS, to participate in the third class of Textron Aviation\'s Aftermarket Development Program, where I learned sales and scheduling, part and distribution management, and aftermarket maintenance processes. After graduating out of the program, I moved into a role as a Customer Service Manager for TA small bodied jets, including the Mustang, M2, CJ3(+), and the CJ4. At the end of 2020, I made the move to Colorado Springs, and began contract work within the supply chain of Otter Products, LLC, where I assisted with production planning, inventory distribution, data modeling and KPI tracking. At the end of that contract, I took an MBA Internship with Sikorsky. There, I was able to grow my skills in Tableau, help to develop standard processes within Materials and Logistics, and contribute to the digital transformation initiative. I recently concluded the pursuit of my Masters of Legal Studies in Contract Management remotely through Arizona State University, to match my professional experience with an academic study of best contracting practices. Additionally, I recently earned my NCMA Certified Federal Contracts Manager Certification.I\'m all about learning and trying new things and would love to connect!
