Western Growers is the largest fresh produce association in the Americas. Our members are headquartered in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado, but produce in and directly contribute to the economies of 29 states overall. In total, our members account for nearly half of the fresh produce grown in the United States, providing American consumers with healthy, nutritious food. Dave Puglia became President and CEO in 2020. He is Co-Chair of the Specialty Crop Farm Bill Alliance (SCFBA), a member of USDA’s Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee for Trade (APAC), and Chair of the Public Policy Institute of California’s (PPIC) Water Policy Center Advisory Council.
