In 2014, I joined the Hewlett Foundation\'s stable of proofreaders, tasked with perusing their internal and external communications (including press releases, staff announcements, blog posts, board of directors materials, and more) to ensure unwavering adherence to proper grammar, to their dedicated guidelines, and to their preferred style guide. Recently I\'ve begun assisting staff members who want to improve their written communication talents. By combining psychological insight and technical writing skills, clients are learning to articulate their ideas with clarity and confidence. It\'s a thrill to get to support all the wonderful things they\'re doing in the world.
