ABOUT EMILY RYAN

As Head of Supply Chain Operations at Foodbuy Group, I set the direction for how we use our scale and distributor network to drive growth, strengthen commercial performance, and improve service for our end customers.I lead outbound delivery performance across the network, focusing on optimising service levels, improving efficiency, and embedding consistent delivery standards that support volume growth. Through clear performance measures, customer‑level insight, and strong collaboration with distributors, I drive operational improvement and the behavioural change needed to deliver reliable service at scale.Alongside this, I lead group‑level forecasting across inbound supply and product mix to ensure we are in stock of the right products, in the right place, at the right time. This includes planning for demand shifts, seasonality, promotions, major events, and external supply risks. I optimise product mix to deliver strong commercial outcomes, reduce waste, and release cash back into the business, while also overseeing inbound and outbound performance for high‑profile events such as Wimbledon.Everything I do is underpinned by strong internal and external relationships.
