About Emily Dahl McLoughlin
After 15 years in marketing - from a local nonprofit to global tech company - it is a dream to be able to devote this time in my career to giving back to my community. I am currently serving as trustee and management consultant to 3 private foundations located in North Carolina, my home state. As a newbie in philanthropy, I am actively expanding my network of funders, meeting nonprofit leaders, and immersing myself in trust-based philanthropy.In the long-term, I plan to bring my experience to under-resourced teams as a consultant with Purposefuel Marketing. My skill set spans a breadth of marketing tactics: account-based product marketing, email marketing, social media, inbound marketing, SEO/SEM, content creation, market research and PR. As a native of the Triangle, I am committed to the growth of this community, especially through the support of local entrepreneurship, education, arts and sciences. I currently serve in volunteer leadership roles with two nonprofits: Band Together NC & Friends of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. I am a lifelong Tar Heel and mom of 2.
