Emily is the founder of Embodied Health and a registered dietitian providing trauma informed care to clients with eating disorders. As a white, cis-gender woman she is aware of her privilege in a healthcare system that is traumatic in nature and is committed to supporting clients wherever they may be in their recovery journey.Emily strives to serve clients from marginalized communities including people of color, those with disabilities, co-occurring mental health diagnoses and members of the LGBTQ community. We work with clients across the entire spectrum of disordering eating including those with clinical eating disorders and those with chronic dieting histories.We collaborate with our client\'s care team and support system throughout their time in our care. Our team is committed to providing inclusive care to all our patients and we identify as a LGBTQI, anti-racist and fat liberation practice. Over the course of one year, Emily grew the business by hiring two additional dietitians and a therapist which was matched with a 200% increase in revenue in that one year to become a six-figure earning
