ABOUT EMILY BOONSTRA
I am currently a Senior Account Executive at Middle Child. During my time in the industry I have a taken an interest in consumer and lifestyle public relations. While working at Middle Child I found myself completely engrossed in the culture. I really enjoy being a member of their community while understanding and upholding their standard of practice and communication. My expertise in communication stems back to a volunteer trip I took in 2015. I spent six weeks in Tanzania studying and working with various schools in different communities. Despite a clear language barrier we were still able to communicate seamlessly. From there, I studied political science at Queen\'s University. I was drawn to the way politicians communicate with constituents as well as their ability to campaign. I also minored in philosophy in hopes of refining my ability to communicate a rationale. I am still interested in public affairs and look forward to learning more about the various PR pathways.
