ABOUT EMILY BANGSBOLL
Motivated biomedical engineering graduate student, passionate about medical device design and development! Recently completed a thesis based master\'s program in biomedical engineering at the University of Calgary. My graduate research project, funded by NSERC, Alberta Innovates, and the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship, implements biplane videoradiography (dual fluoroscopy) to conduct kinematic analyses of the cervical spine and cervical total disc arthroplasty devices.Previously completed a dual undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and biomedical engineering from Western University, and was the recipient of the Biomedical Engineering Gold Medal award, reflecting a dedication to academic excellence.Demonstrates leadership through extracurricular and community engagement, and fosters collaborative environments and continuous learning within the engineering community.
