I founded Active Step Healthcare Ltd in 2011 with a simple vision: to provide exceptional podiatry care and make a positive impact on the local community. What started as renting a single room and building a patient caseload from scratch has grown into a multi-room, purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility serving not just our local area, but patients from beyond as well.Throughout this journey, my focus has always been on delivering the highest standard of care, while also building a strong, supportive team of skilled professionals who share the same commitment to excellence. From day one, I’ve worked to create an environment where both our patients and team members feel valued, supported, and empowered.In my strategic role, I focus on coaching and mentoring my team to help them reach their full potential, creating a culture where they thrive and deliver their best work. This approach has allowed me to step away from the day-to-day operations, enabling the business to run smoothly while empowering my team to take ownership of their roles. This experience has also led me to coaching other practice leaders, sharing the insights and strategies that have been key to building a successful, resilient practice. It’s been incredibly rewarding to support other leaders as they grow, just as I’ve helped my team grow over the years.
