ABOUT EMILY FARLEY GARDNER

I believe life is best lived in balance - we work to live, not live to work. At Atlantic Bay, this mindset is a core part of our culture. One of our guiding principles is simple: work hard, play hard. I actively encourage our team to prioritize time with family and friends, because when we show up fully in life, we show up better at work.While I jokingly say I’m “married” to Atlantic Bay, spending time with my husband, David, along with our family and friends, is truly what grounds me. I’m an outdoor enthusiast at heart - whether it\'s hiking, biking, kayaking, going to concerts, or traveling, I find energy and inspiration in being outside.Community is deeply important to me. I’ve had the honor of serving with the Roc Solid Foundation for the past eight years and currently sit on their board of directors. Giving back isn’t just a passion, it’s a purpose.At my core, I’m a connector. I believe in the power of people and that no one succeeds alone. Great teams are built when we recognize and elevate each other’s strengths. I see it as my calling to help individuals uncover what drives them, and just as importantly, what holds them back, so we can work together toward meaningful growth.I lead with trust, not control. Micromanagement stifles innovation and limits potential. I believe our role as leaders is to create space for people to thrive, support them through coaching, and empower them to become the best version of themselves.Success, to me, is about passion and perseverance. I’ve never needed to be the smartest person in the room, just the most committed to learning, growing, and working hard.
