Emily Chien is a technologist, strategic leader and senior advisor to AI ventures and corporates, with deep operating expertise and business acumen to bridge tech, business and innovation. She is an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School specializing in accelerating value creation at the intersection of GenAI, Agentic AI, and Corporate AI Governance. As a long-time AI champion/practitioner and IBM AI Fellow at the World Economic Forum, she has worked alongside Microsoft, Salesforce and other stakeholders to advance industry best practices and adoption of responsible AI.At IBM, Emily was a leader in the Enterprise AI practice and forging AI solutions in banking, investing and insurance workflows that re-imagined risk management, underwriting, finance and sales using unstructured and structured data. She led Global Sustainability Climate AI Offerings and Tech/PE partnerships.
