About Emily Young-Squire
Hello! I’m Emily, and I am a junior at Georgetown University studying International Business, Language, and Culture. My major sits at the intersection of people and business, and that’s exactly where I thrive.This past year, I discovered my love for human resources. I’m currently an HR Intern at the Neighborhood Association for Inter-cultural Affairs (NAICA), where I’ve supported the onboarding of 50+ new hires, assisted with hiring events, pre-screened over 100 candidates, and gained hands-on experience in areas like compliance, benefits, and employee engagement. In addition to my internship, I’ve completed multiple HR-focused courses and certifications in talent acquisition and human capital strategy, but I’m always looking to deepen my understanding of the field.
