   Serve as an advocate between the school, classroom, program, community, and Head Start families- Complete beginning, middle, and end-of-year needs assessments with families and connect families with appropriate resources to assist with identified needs- Help families develop a working partnership agreement goal, provide follow-up to check progress of goal(s), and address boundaries that may require assistance- Communicate with families via email, phone calls, home visits, in-person meetings, text messages and notes sent in student folders- Maintain appropriate paperwork for each student on assigned caseload- Create shared student staffing forms to document and record student follow-up and communication and use an online database (ChildPlus) to document all family contacts, etc- Assisting the Nurse Coordinator with follow-up on student health requirements (health assessments, dental visits, etc) to ensure all students are in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and health regulations- Assist in planning and participation in parent activities, meetings, and training at school sites- Assist with Preschool and Kindergarten screenings/registration processes.
