Passionate about Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, I’m a medical student dedicated to research that advances surgical outcomes, wound healing, and access to care by integrating AI into clinical decision-making. I’ve led Global Surgery and Wound Care & Limb Salvaging initiatives for 5+ years, and my research spans gut microbiome–brain interactions, tumor microenvironments, neuroplasticity, and wound VAC therapy post-mastectomy. Clinically, I’ve gained hands-on experience as a Plastic Surgery Medical Assistant and observer in both outpatient and hospital settings. I thrive in collaborative research environments and value culturally competent care, with fluency in both English and Vietnamese. My current research interest lies in clinical outcomes in breast reconstruction, aesthetic techniques, and surgical disparities, anchored by a commitment to underserved populations.
