Support the development and refinement of substance use disorder (SUD) policies and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations to strengthen accountability, service quality, and equity across LA County’s SUD treatment system.Provide targeted technical assistance and guidance to internal divisions and a network of contracted treatment providers, helping translate policy updates into actionable program improvements.Collaborate cross-functionally with providers, county departments, and system partners to advance quality-focused SUD initiatives and improve access to care for underserved populations.Contribute to the planning and implementation of training and TA plans that support provider capacity, compliance, and adoption of evidence-based practices.Prepare reports to track system-wide trends, provider challenges, and emerging needs, informing SAPC leadership and supporting data-driven decision-making for program development and resource allocation.Engage in continuous systems-level quality improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize service delivery and address gaps in care related to geography, population needs, or evolving drug use trends.Represent SAPC at meetings and conferences to strengthen partnerships, promote transparency, and elevate community provider voices in system planning.
