Welcome!\"True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life, ourselves, and the world around us \"-SocratesI have experienced so much, yet there is so much more to learn! Throughout my formative and adolescent years, I searched for purpose, meaning, and a deeper explanation for thoughts, feelings and experiences. This exploration led to an appreciation of both Eastern and Western philosophies of health and wellness. As a graduate student, I discovered the complexity and profound nature of human development, the holistic, systemic, interconnectedness we all share with our entire universe. I found myself drawn to similar ideas, theories and interventions. I gravitate toward approaches that identify difficulties as challenges rather than \"pathologies.\" Theorists such as Carl Jung, Carl Rogers, Richard Schwartz, embrace the concept of the inherent \"goodness\" of every human being. This assumption of inherent \"goodness\" remains essential in my practice. As an emerging mental health professional, I entered the field with curiosity and compassion. Throughout my career, I gravitated toward working with individuals and families recovering from traumatic experiences. Working with a non profit, I learned crisis assessment and intervention strategies. With some time and experience I was honored with an opportunity to instruct others as well. My role as program coordinator prepared me to serve as clinical director of Piper Place Day Rehabilitation Program. In this position, I had the honor and privilege of serving clients with severe mental illness. Next, my career path guided me toward developing my private practice which was established in 2012. This transition was supported by colleagues and I was fortunate to continue to facilitate groups, provide utilization review services and occasionally support the agency in other ways.Since opening my practice, I have continued to deepen my research, education and training. I have trained in Hypnotherapy and NLP, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method, Lifespan Integration, Person-centered counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Somatic Experiencing, Strength-Based and Trauma Informed interventions. I also obtained certification as an ACE Health Coach. Due to professional obligations, I have since allowed this certification to lapse, but have continued to apply the concepts and interventions that promote healthy behavior changes.

In this coaching collaboration, the co-founders share a commitment to holistic and alternative healing modalities. Reiki, Hypnotherapy, Somatic Experience, BEST (Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique), Mindful Meditation: group and individual sessions, Breath-work Facilitation, Inner Child Healing, Soul focused Healing, Internal Family Systems informed,(parts work) Community Meditation, Community Connection and Support.
