ABOUT EMILY TENCH
Emily has experience in community engagement within the third sector, having played a significant part of the £5million redevelopment of The Common Room, Newcastle, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. In 2022, Emily joined Morgan Sindall Infrastructure to lead social value delivery on the Northumberland Line Project (NLP), working with Northumberland County Council. Emily’s work on the NLP has been highly commended in the 2024 and 2025 Women in Rail awards. As a passionate advocate for inclusion, Emily also won the Advocate Award in Morgan Sindall Infrastructure’s internal Rail Awards for her support of LGBTQIA+ rights and allyship.Emily is now working in the Energy Sector for Morgan Sindall Infrastructure working on large scale energy projects for clients such as National Grid.
