About Emily Sproule
As a recruiting professional currently working for Nordstrom and in my past role with Microsoft, I have been responsible for owing the full life cycle process and partnership with business units within the technology team. This partnership includes being a part of team and leadership meetings in order to strategize the best resources for talent and understand the priorities for hiring and growing the team. I have utilized different approaches to bring the best talent to the table, including program managing hiring events to host multiple candidates in one day. I have also taken on any program management responsibly I am able to for the broader team in order to gain more skills and experience in this area. I am very passionate about Veteran outreach and hiring. Through my roles at Nordstrom and Microsoft as well as my volunteer time I am working to help veterans as they transition to civilian life both with social connections as well as job searches. I have been a part of the Microsoft Military community and am working creating one for Nordstrom, starting with the technology group. I spend much of my free-time volunteering for Team Red, White and Blue and am the current Seattle Chapter Captain. Specialties: Technical Recruiting, negotiating, problem solving, Veteran hiring and resume translation and collaboration Very passionate about making an impact where it is important!
