About Emily Spitrey
I am a University of Central Florida (UCF) student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology on the Industrial / Organizational track. I am also pursuing a certificate in Human Resources from UCF. As the Secretary of the Society of Human Resource Management, I have learned valuable skills such as record keeping, newsletter creation, and being a reliable team member to my fellow officers. As an active member of UCF\'s Student Conduct and Academic Integrity Board, I handle confidential information and act sensitively as I help solve ambiguous problems.In my previous HR Internship role, I coordinated interviews, ensured onboarding accuracy, and communicated with potential applicants using email and handshake. Over two years as a cashier at JCPenney, I handled customer interactions respectfully and efficiently. For my technical skills, I am knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 platforms, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and SPSS. I utilize these programs regularly and am always looking to expand my knowledge in other programs.
