ABOUT EMILY SINGLETARY
An articulate and highly-motivated individual with 10+ years\' experience working in the Medical Communications and healthcare industry.My career began in client service, having initially trained as a performer at drama school. Whilst not a typical qualification for a career in a life sciences industry (!), learning my craft provided me with many life skills such as drive, self-reflection, and perserverence. Combined with life experience in a variety of paid and voluntary roles across multiple business sectors, this combined experience provided me with a set of transferable skills and a mindset that pushed me to succeed.I moved into a project management role in 2019, working across a broad range of accounts and therapy areas (from publications, to events, to medical affairs and digital delivery), before I undertook a career pivot and joined the Career Experience (CXP) team in 2022.This role closely aligns to my personal values and speaks to my career aspirations, and I\'m proud to say that I feel I make a positive difference to other people\'s lives every day, even if only in some small way. The CXP team focuses on creating positive experiences for our global team, improving employee engagement, professional development and training, and supporting personalised career journeys for our employees through our career experience platform Fuel50, along with live and on-demand learning, training, and content, to help ensure employee satisfaction, engagement, and growth.
