About Emily Rotola
I\'m a determined and passionate Cryogenic Process Controls Engineer at Air Products, currently in my second rotation of the Career Development Program (CDP). In my previous role as a Cryogenic Plant Process Engineer, I served as primary contact for several ASU (Air Separation Unit) plants, providing on-call troubleshooting support and leading critical site efforts including safety defrosts, sieve reloads, and plant start-ups. I contributed to major capital projects by redlining P & IDs, designing and specifying equipment and valves, and by supporting the flat bottom tank safety retrofit from PFDs/P & IDs to an approved for design package. I\'m driven by a passion for process optimization, with a strong focus on improving site safety, operational efficiency, and the day-to-day quality of life for plant personnel. Furthermore, my past research and experience has allowed me to cultivate my experimental, analytical, and organizational skills in both an independent and group environment. My interdisciplinary background from Lafayette College with a dual degree in Chemical Engineering and International Studies (with a concentration in Spain and Latin America) has given me a unique perspective in approaching domestic and international engineering problems.
