About Emily Razaqi
At Amgen, Emily Razaqi serves as Senior Vice President, Obesity and Related Conditions and Chair of the Amgen Foundation. Razaqi ensures cross-functional alignment and timely execution of launch plans across Research and Development, Operations, Commercial, and other teams. Additionally, she is chair of the Amgen Foundation – Amgen\'s primary channel for corporate philanthropy – focused on science education and giving back in the communities where employees live and work. She is also proud to serve as executive sponsor of the Amgen Asian Association employee resource group. Razaqi joined Amgen in 2004 and has held a variety of roles across the company and around the world. In her previous roles at Amgen, Emily served as senior vice president, Corporate Affairs, General Manager, Biosimilars and as vice president, Amgen Singapore Site Operations. Prior to that, Emily was a Global Product General Manager and Global Operations Leader in Amgen’s cardiovascular therapeutic area. Razaqi started her career in management consulting at the Boston Consulting Group. Razaqi earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management from Stanford University.
