About Emily Phan-Gruber
As an experienced leader, I am skilled at setting a strategic vision to tackle complex problems and work collaboratively to transform that vision into tangible results. My utility and consulting experience has focused on developing market transformation strategies for the transportation, building and flexible load sectors, including electric vehicles, LED lighting, and heat pumps. As a member of a senior leadership team overseeing all program work, I established processes to ensure high quality project execution and reporting for our clients. I spearheaded the development of a staff professional development program and instituted leadership training to help ensure high employee satisfaction and a strong talent pipeline. Most recently, I\'ve led development of transportation electrification strategy, successfully proposed and defended a range of new products and services through the regulatory process, including an EV charging infrastructure program, EV time-of-use rate, fleet electrification advisory service, and EV managed charging program. After approval, I led the launch of those programs, including process and tool development and building relationships with customers.With a cross-cutting internal team, I led the development of a Load Management Roadmap to help assess the impacts of electrification on the grid and identify the path forward to manage the expected load growth from electrification. I\'m focused on thinking about how our EV-driving customers and the utility can both benefit from smartly managing this new load and how to best leverage technology systems in that transformation.
