About Emily Park

I am a 3rd-year University of Washington Bothell senior majoring in Law, Economics, and Public Policy and minoring in Economics. Currently, I am serving as the Director of Senate for the University of Washington Bothell\'s student government(ASUWB) and the secretary for Women In Law. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. with UW Bothell\'s D.C. Human Rights Seminar class. From there, I was engaged with policy makers, legislators, representatives, advocacy groups, lobbyists, and Senators. Within a week, I was able to learn so much more about the work in DC and how human rights plays. I truly enjoyed my time in D.C. and hope to integrate myself further with politics in my career.    Contributed respectfully to the diverse and inclusive work environment at UWB and the Student-Engagement & Activities (SEA) department - Contributed to the SEA mission- Performed outreach to students about SEA programs, events, and services to promote student involvement and provide current information about campus resources- Maintained documents and folders in a shared digital filing system on a student engagement platform, social media, and other technology - Performed clerical duties, including documenting and updating processes, data entry, maintaining work calendars, booking rooms, and scheduling meetings - Supported and staffed SEA events and operations as needed. This includes but is not limited to New Student Orientation, Welcome Week, SEA org support, and large-scale campus events - Represented the SEA department at events and as requested by the supervisor.
