About Emily McGinn

At the start of 2025, I made the decision to step away from my career in marketing to pursue what had been my true passion for years: fitness.I’m now a certified personal trainer and coach in New York, dedicated to helping people of all ages build strength, confidence, and community through movement. My focus is on creating supportive environments where everyone feels capable and included, because I know firsthand the power fitness has to transform not just bodies, but lives.This year, I’m also training for my first marathon as part of Team for Kids, to support free after-school running programs that give kids mentorship, movement, and a safe place to belong.My work and my training both come back to one thing: purpose. I believe in setting goals that scare us, showing up consistently, and creating opportunities for others to thrive.
