Huddle Up Moms empowers all mothers in the Roanoke and New River Valleys through education, meaningful connections, and community support. We envision a future in which all mothers have the support they need to be happy, healthy, and confident to flourish in all areas of their lives. We believe that it takes a village to raise a family, and no woman should feel isolated.• Joined several women to create a local non-profit organization whose mission is to empower mothers through education, support, and meaningful connections. • Serve as Treasurer of the Board of Directors: responsible for the care and custody of the money, funds, valuable papers, and documents; maintain accurate books of the accounts and transactions; create a well-established, strategic business model for the organization, and develop financial and budgetary plans.• Serve as the Director of Operations & Events on the Executive Team of Directors: develop organizational goals and long-term operational processes; sets strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity; devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying, and implementing process improvement; oversee subcommittees and event logistics.
