Effectively provide global corporate legal counsel representation and leadership to Fisher Controls International LLC; Instrument & Valves Services Company; Sempell GmbH; and their subsidiary companies.• Responsible for drafting and negotiating complex, international products/service sales agreements with customers and engineering procurement contractors in the oil and gas, power, hydrocarbon, food/beverage, nuclear, pulp/paper, fertilizer, and pharmaceutical industries.• One of ten global representatives selected to develop a world-class contract program for the Emerson Automation Solutions business platform. Responsibilities include setting direction/providing leadership; creating contract templates and process flows; drafting contract negotiation manuals; development of delegations of authority documents; developing and delivering contract training; and establishing tools (including a contract management system), resources, policies and procedures.• Co-Chair of the Emerson Nuclear Attorney Practice Group, responsible for developing country-specific nuclear indemnification agreement templates; a global agreement database; and contract negotiation manual as well as fostering dialogue and collaboration among the lawyers on the team.• Successfully manage outside legal counsel resources and costs in product liability, asbestos, and other litigation matters.• Consistently achieving positive results, even under difficult circumstances with large, multi-national customers and suppliers. This has resulted in increased sales/project wins as well as reduced costs for my clients.• Provide legal support utilizing a global lens for international trade compliance and logistics, including the management of relationships with regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
