I am working under the guidance of the College of Public Health Communications Director, Lauren Baggett, and the UGA Program Coordinator, Hannah Southall, for the High Obesity Program in Georgia. In both positions, I have developed health promotion communication strategies and content, participated in program operations, and assisted in grant reapplication. We work within our HOP communities to build relationships, educate, and provide resources to rural Georgia. As part of the CPH communications team, I have developed social media content, analyzed social media analytics, and conducted social media coverage of our annual conference.

ABOUT EMILY LOEDDING ASHBY
I am a current Ph.D. student at the University of Georgia and hold a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion & Behavior and a Masters of Public Health. I am passionate about maternal and child health, women\'s health, and how both topics intersect with worksite wellness. I have worked on multiple research projects, within labs as a Graduate Research Assistant, studied public health issues abroad, completed a fellowship with the UGA Cooperative Extension, and recently received recognition for my first accepted presentation at APHA.
