In this role, I lead a team who are responsible for producing and delivering critical drives and events within the Product Engineering prototype space. Integrating attribute and programme teams within the events cycle, to inform the development process and enable delivery of modern luxury vehicles at Job 1 and beyond. Responsibility for developing and managing the Product Engineering global events cadence and strategy which serves every function of the business up to and including Board / PLC level. The other core part of my role is to lead the Competitor Vehicles team.This involves planning and managing three fleets of vehicles, supporting teams with core and market specific competitor benchmarking, budget management and operations. Key responsibilities- End to end responsibility for delivering Board of Directors drives, global market immersions, regional attribute events, Product Squads and global benchmarking drives- Leading the Competitor Vehicles team and provide support for daily operations - Support teams across JLR with their competitor evaluations, benchmarking, data acquisition and testing plans - Develop robust process improvements that drive value, improve user experience and efficiency - Manage a strategic competitor vehicles stakeholder group, embedding purchase proposals into product whole-life cycle plans - Budget management - Representative for the Product Character & Performance team at the Product Engineering Health and Safety review - Product Character & Performance team People Champion - participate in focus groups, liaison between the team and People/HR function - Member of the Armed Forces Community Network
