Hi, I’m Emily Rapp, a strategic communications and events leader focused on driving economic impact through brand, partnerships, and high-level convenings.I currently serve as Director of Events & Strategic Sponsorships at One Louisville, the unified organization formed through the combination of Greater Louisville Inc.(GLI) and the Louisville Economic Development Alliance. I lead the strategy, execution, and growth of signature events and corporate sponsorships that convene business and civic leaders, strengthen investor engagement, and advance regional economic priorities.Previously, I served as Communications Manager for GLI, where I elevated the organization’s brand and messaging in support of business advocacy and regional growth initiatives.Earlier in my career, I was Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society, leading major fundraising campaigns that generated nearly in support of research, advocacy, and patient services. I also served as PR Director for Insurance Branch and Disability Planners, LLC, driving strategic marketing initiatives that increased new partnerships by 52%.I hold a Master’s degree in Mass Communications with a specialization in Public Relations from the University of Florida.I am passionate about building strategic platforms that connect leaders, align brands with impact, and position regions for long-term growth.
