About Emily Labrecque

I have enjoyed 23 years in law enforcement, during the majority of which I was assigned to the MSP Crime Scene Services Section. My technical expertise includes crime scene response, documentation, evidence collection, evidence processing, and impression evidence development and analysis. I am a certified latent print examiner, and I have forensically processed hundreds of death scenes as well as a wide array of other criminal activity. I have contributed work to a significant number of homicide investigations and high profile cases such as the Boston Tunnel collapse, the Boston Marathon bombings and the subsequent Watertown, MA scene in which the Boston Marathon bombing suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was apprehended. Sub Lab Supervisor- In this leadership role, I was tasked with scene oversight and technical and administrative case review of my team. I managed the day to day details of running the MSP Worcester Crime Scene sub lab, an ANAB accredited agency. I am very proud and grateful to have been part of this cohesive, and talented group of men and women. Crime Scene Training and Training Coordinator- during this time I responsible for training new Crime Scene Services Section members in all aspects of crime scene response, documentation, evidence processing and latent print comparison.
