ABOUT EMILY KUSEC-ASHCROFT
I have utilized all of my knowledge and experience along with my personal passion for pets and people towards my 10 year career with Pet Valu, to ensure not only my personal growth and success, but also that of the company and employees at all the locations I have worked at. Graduated from the University of Guelph with a Master\'s Diploma in Management. My focus was about future graduates with invisible disabilities before they enter the workplace in relation to stigma and other barriers. Graduated from Humber College with a degree in Interior Design. My thesis project was (The Hive) a Centre for Adults with Autism (see my projects for more information). I did peer mentoring for interior design students during my final year and have continued to do so beyond graduation. Have worked in the past for the City of Toronto (5 winter seasons), Stantec, Pottery Barn, Banana Republic, Sears Canada, and Dairy Queen.
