About Emily Jones
I am a product development professional and product owner with 17 years experience, holding various roles across a multitude of industries. I have a deep focus on voice of customer and delivering product solutions that truly solve issues, fill product line gaps, and make lives easier – all with an emphasis on top-line and bottom-line financials. I’ve spent the entirety of my career working cross functionally with other departments to successfully deliver a product to market, prioritizing clear and consistent communication with stakeholders from beginning to end. I’m well versed in working directly with consumers and building out several year roadmaps that meet or exceed product category revenue and margin expectations. For the bulk of my career, I’ve worked in hard goods and soft goods, however, for the last 3+ years I’ve been managing a portfolio that includes delivering on hardware and software solutions with cloud connected products. Working in a hardware and software-based environment adds an exciting layer of complexity and creativity on how to bring product features and solutions to life. My work experience has provided me with incredible opportunities that have helped shape who I am as an individual and who I’m striving to become as I continue my journey in my professional life. I’ve worked hard for the opportunities that have been presented to me and I’m not shy about facing a challenge head on. I’ve been fortunate enough to be in positions where I can express my entrepreneurial spirit in order to finish “outside the box” projects, and I pride myself in the ability to keep a positive attitude through each new endeavor. I crave a good challenge and am humble enough to know that I will never stop learning, nor do I want to.
