This includes the areas of operations, development, member services, curatorial services, sales, public programs, public relations, marketing, staffing, and educational programs that are essential to establishing this museum as an educational institution.

ABOUT EMILY HAVENS
I began my career as a Professional In Scouting in 1998. For more than 17 years, I served the Chickasaw Council in district operations, camp operations, Mississippi capital campaign director, special events director, and in many other capacities. In addition, I received the Professional Circle award and the council\'s award of excellence, the Manus-Long Award, a record 3 times. I started a Women\'s Affinity group within the council to mentor women. In 2015, I became the Executive Director of GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi, a state-of-the-art, non-profit music museum located in Cleveland, MS. Having served in this role since January 2015, I oversee all aspects of the museum’s business operations and strategy, including fundraising, programming, education, and outreach. Under my leadership, GRAMMY Museum Mississippi has welcomed visitors from all over the world, providing educational opportunities for students throughout the Mississippi Delta and beyond, and hosted public programming and special events for the community, building support and sustainability through grants, foundations, partners, and successful fundraising initiatives. I have been in non-profit management for 26 years. I have a Master of Science in Community Development Degree from DSU and am a Certified Fund Raiser Executive. I am a member of the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Museum Association, Chamber of Commerce, Cleveland Tourism Council, Cleveland Rotary Club, Junior Auxiliary of Cleveland, and Bayou Academy Foundation. I am a member of the Mississippi Tourism Association and Mississippi Alliance of Nonprofits and Philanthropy. I have served as the President of the Cleveland Rotary Club, Cleveland Country Club, Hayes Cooper Center Booster Club, and on the Board of Directors of the GRAMMY Mississippi Museum. I am a Paul Harris Fellow and have received the 2012 Chamber Award for Service. I am also active in my church as a Vacation Bible School volunteer. I am married to Lee and have 3 children.
