ABOUT EMILY HAGGERTY
Attending Mercy College gave me many opportunities to learn and apply many nursing skills. I took the skills I learned in lecture, practiced them hands-on in our simulation lab, and applied them in the hospital setting. Being in the hospital setting also allowed me to learn about the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and communication among co-workers. My goal was to become a Pediatric nurse, which I have achieved working for Weill Cornell Primary Care. I hope to continue my education further and get an advanced nursing degree.
