Innovative Care Services is a Wisconsin nonprofit human services organization that assists people with disabilities by offering support services that best address individual needs.My motivation to become a Youth Mental Health Technician stems from my deep-rooted belief in the power of resilience and the human capacity for growth and change. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge, gained through personal experience and my undergraduate education, to support individuals in their journey toward mental well-being. I aspire to make a tangible difference in the lives of the youth I serve.Responsibilities: Working with youth in the La Crosse/Onalaska Area with mental health and or diagnosis and or substance abuse concerns.Implemented skill-based teaching methods to enhance clients\' daily living capabilities. Collaborating with the Innovative Services team of counselors, therapists, and social workers to create tailored care plans for the individuals assigned to me. Assist in conducting group sessions, emphasizing social skills and interpersonal interactions.
